Who we are

I work with a group of dedicated wine educators with a simple goal: to provide both casual drinkers and wine professionals with facts, knowledge and crucial tasting experience of wine faults.

Throughout my teaching career and personal wine journey, I've uncorked thousands of bottles. While I've enjoyed most of them, I've also encountered numerous issues and felt uncertain about how “clean” some of the wines were. This is especially true with today's low-intervention wines - so-called natural - where the line between small deviations, flaws and distintive character is blurred.

Wine is a living product—more art than science. Even with excellent winemaking practices and careful handling by retailers and consumers, things can go wrong.

And they often do.
